St. Vincent Pallotti was born in Rome in 1795. His love for the poor and downtrodden was the outcome of his understanding of the Love of God for humanity. His service to humanity was noteworthy and his life was exemplary in thought, word and deed. His desire for charity was experienced by people of all walks of life in Rome.
Kindled by the love for poor, St. Vincent Pallotti established a society of Priests and Brothers in the year 1835, known as the Society of the Catholic Apostolate. This society, commonly known as the Congregation of the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers, is spread all over the world. It made its beginning in India in the year 1951 and has grown in to four provinces. Its primary objective is to proclaim to the world that happiness lies in unity and service to humanity.
St. Vincent Pallotti Matriculation Higher Secondary School is run by the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers. St Vincent Pallotti is the patron of the school. It was started in the year 1996, having only KG sections, in a small, newly constructed building. Over a period of 25 years the school has undergone tremendous growth with an objective to produce dedicated, selfless and hard working men and women by providing a liberal, secular, sound and value based education.
